Making a Purchase

Simply add items you wish to purchase into the Shopping Cart. When you have finished, simply click on 'Checkout'. You will then be asked for certain personal and payment details in order for us to complete your order. Please note you will need to check the required box if you wish for your items to be sent to a different address to the billing address.

Please note that you will receive a confirmatory email from us with details of your purchase and successful payment. At this point a contract between us exists and we will commit to fulfil your order against the Terms and Conditions.

At the moment our website can only accept online purchases from customers in the UK and EU. If you are outside the EU and would like to make a purchase from us, please email your order requirements to: tea@char-chars.co.uk where we will provide you a quote for P&P.

Postage & Packing

Postage is calculated according the weight of the order and the destination. We try to ensure that this is current and accurate for the destination but reserve the right to amend if necessary.

Postage will be applied as follows:

P&P charges will be calculated and displayed when you checkout.

Please note, when we can we re-use quality boxes and packing, but always ensure the highest standards for safe delivery.

Pricing

All prices are in UK Pounds and inclusive of VAT at the current rate of 17.5%.

Information & Availability

Whilst we make every effort to ensure the accuracy of the descriptions and availability information on the website, there may be occasions when these are not up to date. We do not accept liability for any errors and omissions and reserve the right to change information, specifications and descriptions of listed products and services.

If your item is not in stock, we will email you and give you the option to either have a back order,a part order or allow you to cancel the order if you would rather not wait.

Payments

All payments will be made in UK Pounds. For your convenience, we have provided a currency converter within our site, which enables you to understand the price of items you are purchasing in your home currency. The currency converter acts as a guide only and we therefore do not accept responsibility or liability for any discrepancies in its accuracy.

The approximate total price of your order will be displayed in Euros and US Dollars at Checkout for your convenience.

We accept most major credit and debit cards, and your billing address must be the same as that registered for your card. You must enter all the required information in order for your purchase to be progressed.

You will be debited for items purchased before they are shipped. Once your payment details have been accepted we will confirm your order by email.

If you are ordering from a country outside of the United Kingdom then you will be charged in UK Pounds, however your Credit Card Company should convert the transaction to your home currency.

Delivery

We aim for orders to be despatched and delivered within 5 working days. However, we often experience high volume orders and would therefore ask you allow 14 days for delivery. (see also Information & Availability).

Returns

We aim for the highest standards but should any item you purchase from this site fail to meet your complete approval please return it to us in original condition within 14 days of receipt and we will give you a full refund of the item's cost. We would strongly suggest you obtain a proof of posting and ensure your return parcel is packaged securely.

Customs

When ordering goods from outside the UK , you are responsible for ensuring compliance with the laws of the importing country and for paying all applicable customs duties, taxes and import charges.

These conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales

Security & Privacy

We use Protx Systems as our online secure payment gateway. All transaction information passed between Char-Chars Consultancy Ltd and the Protx VSP Systems is encrypted. No cardholder information is ever passed unencrypted. You can be completely secure in the knowledge that nothing you pass to the Protx servers can be examined, used or modified by any third parties attempting to gain access to sensitive information. Protx will take your credit/debit card details and validate them. You will then be returned back to our website to finish the transaction. The Information we collect is only used by us lawfully and within the Data Protection Act 1998. For this reason the only credit card information we keep is whether your transaction is successful or not.

We would like to keep you informed of offers and news at Char-Chars and we will do so by email. Rest assured that we will not pass on your email details to any other individual or company for marketing purposes.
